PRINCIPLES:

•RIGHTEOUSNESS: You need to take a stand with God (proverbs15:8, James 5:16) sincere prayers of a righteous man makes power available for effective prayer

•TOGETHERNESS: Pray in Gods will, pray in alignment with the holy spirit.

•IN HIS NAME: It’s not in how much we shout that scares the devil out, based on the authority we have in the name of Jesus, we use him as a strong man in our prayers so he intercedes for us.

•IN FAITH: Believe you have received and you would get it (James 1:6-8)

•PERSISTENCE: Keep the attitude of praying till you see results

•Relationship with the father: prayer of the wicked is an abomination

• Enter his gate with thanks and praise: thank God for anything, thank God for the ridiculous so you can experience the miraculous

•God's Government in and through your Life
• Ask for your Needs to Be Met•  Ask Forgiveness of Sin• Ask for Victory over temptations

Hindrances to effective Prayer

•Sin (psalm 66:18)

•Disobedience (proverbs 28:9)

•UnForgiveness (Mark 11:25)

•Unbelief (hebrews11:6)

•Selfishness (James 4:3) - self prayer

•Pride (Luke 18:11-14) - over estimation of oneself

• Dishonoring husband or wife (1pet 3:7)
